Everett Howard Allred
Everett Howard Allred, 95, passed away Sept. 16, 2015, at Mercy Hospital in Cassville. He was born Oct. 1, 1919, near Larue, Ark., to Rev. O.T. and Pearl (Finn) Allred.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Ervin and Keith Allred, and his wife Nadine (Moudy) Allred.
He received his education in a country school near Monett.
On April 5, 1952, he was united in marriage to Nadine (Moudy), in Bentonville, Ark.
Survivors include: two sons, John and wife Melody, of Purdy, and Pastor Ron and wife Esther of Moberly; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren and one step great-great-grandchild; and one brother, Kenneth, of Monett.
He joined the military during World War II. He served in the Coast Guard from 1942 to 1946 as a motor machinist's second class. He retired from Jumping Jack Shoe Company.
He attended Log Church as long as his health permitted.
Funeral services were held Monday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor Ralph Wheeler and Pastor Carolyn McNabb conducted the services. Burial, with military honors, was at Log Church Memorial Gardens, Butterfield.
