Michael Fisher, 42, of Aurora, formerly of Cassville, passed away on Friday, Sept. 18, 2015. He was born on March 23, 1973, in Monett, son of Joe and Irene (Perkins) Fisher. On April 27, 1991, he was united in marriage to Chasity Prisk in Crane. He was a 1992 graduate of Cassville High School, a graduate of the Missouri Sheriffs' Association Training Academy, and served as a Barry County Deputy Sheriff for five years. He also had worked for Justin Boot Company in Cassville and R & M Industries in Purdy. He was currently employed at Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. as the Security Manager of the Monett, Springfield and Branson campuses.
Survivors include: his wife, Chasity Fisher, of Aurora; two sons, Douglas Fisher and his wife, Kaitlin, of Republic, and Robert Fisher, of the home; his father, Joe Fisher, of Cassville; his mother, Irene Newell, of Gateway, Ark.; one brother, David Fisher, of Cassville; two sisters, Linda Childers and her husband, Craig, of Bel Aire, Kan., and Donna Jones and her husband, Jimmy, of Gateway, Ark.; his father and mother-in-law, Robert and Denise Prisk, of Leann; one brother-in-law, James "Jimmy" Prisk, of St. Louis; one sister-in-law, Jennifer Mann, of Cassville; three aunts, Dortha Amos and her husband, Bud, of Butterfield, Ollie Williamson, of Richmond, and Martha Craig, of Fairland, Okla.; He was preceded in death by one son, Dustin Fisher.
Memorial services were held Tuesday at the White Funeral Home and Crematory in Cassville, with Pastor Gavin Sowell officiating.
