Anna Ruth Sligar Cargile Heath

Anna Ruth Sligar Cargile Heath, 71, of Washburn, passed away in her home, Sunday, Sept. 6, 2015.

She was born Sept. 12, 1943, in Cassville, the daughter of John and Pearl (Boyd) Sligar. On July 25, 1959 in Missouri, she was united in marriage to Frank Cargile and later married James Heath all who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were one brother, Charles Sligar; five sisters, Waunita McGlothlin, Bernice Sands, Johnny Hilburn, Betty May and Florence Bryant.

Survivors include; one son, Mike Cargile and his wife, Amber, of Phoenix, Ariz.; two daughters, Gale Heath and her husband, Bill, of Washburn, and Kay Holtyn and her husband, Matt, of Warren, Mich.; three brothers, Leroy Sligar and his wife, Ann, of Carthage, Bob Sligar and his wife, Shirli, of Bentonville, Ark., and John Sligar and his wife, Sharon, of Prairie Grove, Ark.; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She grew up in the Cassville area where she received her education. She then went on to nursing school in Springdale, Ark., earning her LPN degree, working at Bentonville Manor in Arkansas until retirement.

Funeral services were held (Wednesday) in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.

Pastor Charles McElhannon conducted the services.
