Canada man seriously injured after vehicle hits brick wall

Four men suffered injuries Sunday at 5 p.m. in a wreck on Farm Road 1025, six miles west of Exeter.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Stephan Smith, 18, of Exeter, was driving a 2002 Volkswagen Jetta northbound on Farm Road 1025 when his vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a brick wall.

Smith; Matthew Crabb, 20, of Exeter; and Neddjy Michel, 18, of Boca Raton, Fla., each suffered moderate injuries and were transported to Mercy Hospital in Cassville. Nathaniel Pinnoch, age unknown, of Ontario, Canada, suffered serious injuries and was transported to Cox South Hospital in Springfield.

Pinnoch and Smith were wearing safety devices, while Crabb and Michel were not. The vehicle suffered extensive damage.
