Oklahoma residents ejected from boat

Five Oklahoma residents were injured in a boating incident at about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Point 23 on the White River Area of Table Rock Lake.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Gehard Fischer, 61, of Jenks, Okla., was driving too fast and lost control while traveling southbound in a 2015 Liberator 25-foot boat. The chine locked and all five occupants were ejected.

Fischer suffered minor injuries and refused treatment. Passenger Eva Gustaffon, 55, of Tulsa, Okla., suffered serious injuries and was transported by air to Mercy Hospital in Joplin. Passenger Carmen Goff, age unknown, and Carrie Fischer, 54, both of Jenks, Okla., suffered moderate injuries and were transported by Cox EMS to Mercy Hospital in Joplin. Charolette Chancellor, 55, of Jenks, Okla., suffered mninor injuries and refused treatment at the scene.

All were wearing safety devices, and there was no damage to the boat.
