Robert E. Lee
Robert E. Lee, 80, of Cassville, passed away Sunday, July 11, 2015. He was born Feb. 19, 1935, in Cassville to Raymond and Mary Jane "Nell" (Heffley) Lee, who preceded him in death.
Survivors include: his wife, Barbara Ann Cantwell, whom he married Nov. 19, 1955; daughters, Janell (Lee) Stewart and her husband, James, of Cassville; Valarie (Lee) Hutchens and her husband, Phil, also of Cassville; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one brother, Bill Lee and his wife, Veva.
He owned and operated Bob Lee Zenith Television Sales & Service for 57 years. He was an accomplished airplane pilot for over 50 years. He served 13 years in the Army Reserve and was a member of the American Legion.
He graduated Cassville High School in 1953. Bob played with many local bands over the years, including the Texas Swing band "The Ozark Ramblers." He performed on the Ozarks Jubilee Television show that was broadcast on KYTV out of Springfield. He served as music and choir director of Corinth Baptist Church. Funeral services were held Tuesday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastors Lawrence Shuey, Bob Neeley and Paul Wahlert conducted the services. Burial with military honors was at Corinth Cemetery, Cassville.
