Donna Jean Dodson
Donna Jean Dodson, 71, of Cassville, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2015, in Cox Medical Center South, Springfield.
She was born Sept. 25, 1943, in Monett, the daughter of Don Roller and Irene (Roden) Roller. On Aug. 10, 1962, she was united in marriage to Morris Dodson, who survives.
Additional survivors include: two sons, Donnie Dodson and his wife, Monica, of Purdy, and Tommy Dodson and his wife, Mardi, of Cassville; two brothers, Bill Roller and Ted Roller, both of Purdy; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents.
She grew up and received her education in Purdy, where she graduated from high school and then attended Draughon's Business College. She was a life-long resident of Purdy, before moving to Cassville four years ago. For several years, she was a cashier at Walmart and also babysat in her home for many years. She was a member of Ridgley Assembly of God Church. Funeral services were held Friday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor Dan Watson conducted the services. Burial was at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Butterfield.
