Myrtle Emaline (Shockley) Crawford Shelley, 94, of Washburn, passed away Friday, June 26, 2015, at Cassville Health Care and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born April 30, 1921, in McDonald County, the daughter of Bert and Maude (Lee) Shockley. In September 1937, she was united in marriage to John Crawford, who preceded her in death. Born to this union were five children, Bob, Janice, Shirley, Connie and Johnny. She married Carl Shelley, who also preceded her in death. Others preceding her in death were four brothers, Everett Shockley, Wilbur Shockley, Charley Shockley and Wayne Shockley; four sisters, Hazel Young, Bonnie Woodward, Minnie Davis and Norma Catron; one grandson; and one great-grandson.

Survivors include: her children, Bob Crawford and his wife, Brenda, of Rogers, Ark., Janice (Crawford) Quick and her husband, David, of Exeter, Shirley (Crawford) Hopkins and her husband, Gary, of Exeter, Connie (Crawford) Faucett and her husband, Bill, of Elkland, and Johnny Crawford and his wife, Debbie, of Washburn; one brother, Marvin Shockley of Wheaton; one sister, Irene Kimbrough, of Carthage; 13 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 11 great great-grandchildren; three stepchildren; and several step-grandchildren.

She was a member of Washburn First Baptist Church. For over 20 years she worked at Armour and Tyson Poultry Plants. Graveside services were held Monday in Maplewood Cemetery, Exeter, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor Jerry Yarnall conducted the services.
