Robert Ed "Bob" Angle
Robert Ed "Bob" Angle, 75, of Cassville, passed away Friday, June 26, 2015, in Cox-Monett Hospital.
He was born Sept. 30, 1939, in El Paso, Texas, the son of Edwin Shirley and Edna (Cox) Angle. On Dec. 21, 1961, he was united in marriage to Elizabeth Anne Weaver, who survives.
Additional survivors include: one son, Robert Breton Angle and his fiancée Lori Jane Johnson, of Nesbit, Miss.; two daughters, Shanna Lea Angle, of St. Louis, and Elizabeth Anne Angle, of Puyallup, Wash.; three grandchildren, Stephen Andrew Tyson, Grant Todd Angle and his wife, Jessie and Robert Adam Leach and two great-grandchildren, Luke Tyson and Spencer Angle.
He grew up and received his education in El Paso, Texas, where he graduated from high school and the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). In 1976, he and his family moved from El Paso to Missouri and began teaching biology at Pierce City. He then taught for 18 years at Washburn. His other full-time job was raising cattle and chickens. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Cassville and the Masonic Lodge in El Paso.
Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. today (Wednesday) in Cassville First Baptist Church under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor James Weaver will conduct the services. Burial will be in Gunter Cemetery at Butterfield.
