Eagles sweep conference awards

Purdy's Birge named Ozark 7 Player of the Year

Purdy's baseball team swept the top honors in the Ozark 7 Conference awards, as Sydney Birge was named Player of the Year and Coach Joshua Hughes was named Coach of the Year.

In total, the Eagles claimed seven spots on the all-conference list. Along with Birge's and Hughes' accolades, Adam Humphrey, Hunter Cook and Dusty Videmschek all earned First Team awards.

Teammates Ricky Aldaba, Rooby Moody and Jonaton Salazar were Honorable Mentions.

Southwest's Lane England garnered First Team honors, and Garrett Hobbs picked up and Honorable Mention nod.

Exeter's Austin Tripp earned First Team honors for the Tigers.

Wheaton landed three players on the list. Joey Robbins was named First Team all-conference, and Hilsdon Mosley and Tyler McGarrah received Honorable Mention status.
