'Kite Man' teaches Exeter kids to fly

Wednesday, May 27, 2015
"Kite Man" expert Don Iman showed Exeter Elementary School students Colter Woods and Hadley Davis-Moore how to make kites. Iman visited the school to teach students all about kites. He gave the students a science lesson on how and why kites fly, how to make them, and how each kite is unique, just like them. He brought a collection of kites, showed how they are all different yet able to fly, then taught the children how to make one of their own. Afterward, the children got to take their kites outside and fly them. Contributed photo
