Garage sale supports library

Wednesday, May 20, 2015
Shirley McCalister, of Green Forest, Ark., checks out and purchases a few pieces of Corningware for sale at vendor Virginia Helm's table at the Friends of the Library Eagle Rock garage sale Saturday. About 20 vendors were set up in the community building next to the library. This is the fifth year the library has hosted the sale. Vendors get to keep whatever they sell, but proceeds from the fees to rent spaces help support The Eagle Rock Friends of the Library. The library assists with sponsoring speakers, programs, and exhibits to aid the educational and cultural life of the community. Julia Kilmer reporter@cassville-democrat.com
