Virginia Mae "Ginny" Dubuque
Virginia Mae "Ginny" Dubuque, 85, of Shell Knob, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2015, in Mercy Hospital, Cassville.
She was born in St. Louis County, on Oct. 31, 1929, the daughter of Cecil and Blanche (Steele) Sherfy who preceded her in death.
Also preceding her in death was her husband Robert, two brothers and one sister.
Survivors include: one son Cecil Joseph "Joe" Dubuque and his wife, Cheryl, of Galena; two grandchildren; one step grandson; and four great- grandchildren.
She grew up and received her education in St. Louis County, where she later became a waitress. On Feb. 20, 1954, she was united in marriage to Robert Joseph Dubuque, in Ellisville. In 1984, they moved to Shell Knob. She went to work at the Shell Knob Café as a waitress. She was a member of the Shell Knob VFW Women's Auxiliary and spent many days volunteering at the Central Crossing Senior Center.
Memorial services were held May 12 in Fohn Funeral Home, Shell Knob. Reverend John Johnson conducted the services.
