Security Bank donates $2,500 for new press box

Jon Horner, center, president of Security Bank, recently donated $2,500 on behalf of the bank for the updated press box at Wildcat Stadium. The new construction will feature coach boxes for home and visiting teams, a game workers area, which was previously very crowded, and rooms for radio stations of both home and away teams. The previous box was so small, a ladder and catwalk was built for coaches to stand on top of the box, which was not included in the original design. It has been 30 years since the old box was updated. The new box is 60 feet long, compared to the old 36-foot box. In exchange for donations, sponsors receive five years of sponsorship at stadium events.
