3 injured in wreck on Route C, including infant
Vehicle overturns down embankment, strikes tree
Three people, including an infant, were injured Wednesday night in a single-vehicle wreck on Route C, seven miles east of Purdy.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Jennifer Jereczek, 24, of Cassville, was driving a 2002 Mitsubishi Montero on Route C at about 8:30 p.m. when her vehicle ran off the roadway, overturned down a steep embankment and struck a tree.
Jereczek suffered minor injuries and was transported by private vehicle to Mercy Hospital in Cassville. Also suffering minor injuries was Skilynn Jereczek, an infant, and she was transported by private vehicle to Mercy as well. A passenger in the vehicle, James Ferguson, 35, of Verona, suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital in Cassville.
Skilynn Jereczek was the only one of the three wearing a safety device, and the vehicle suffered extensive damage.
