Horner sworn in as Cassville alderman

Jon Horner, right, and Bill Shiveley, center, takes the oaths of office for north ward alderman and mayor, respectively, at the April Cassville City Council meeting. Swearing in the officials was City Clerk Jennifer Evans. Horner will serve a 2-year term and will be paid $75 per meeting. Shiveley will serve a 2-year term and will be paid $150 per meeting. A meeting is defined as any time the council is called and forms a quorum, which would include special meetings but not include board or commission meetings, such as the planning and zoning commission or airport board.
