Atanasio "Raymond" Viera

Atanasio "Raymond" Viera, Jr., 55, of Shell Knob, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2015, in his home.

He was born July 2, 1959, in California, the son of Atanasio Viera, Sr. and Ida Morales. In 2005, in Oregon, he was united in marriage to Melissa Pardo, who survives.

Additional survivors include: his mother, Ida Viera, of California; seven daughters, Valarie Espinoza and her husband, Thomas, of Chino, Calif., Vanessa Viera, of Chino, Calif., Raeleen Viera, of Shell Knob, Raechel Viera ,of Talent, Oreg., Taylor Viera, of Talent, Oreg., Melissa Powell, of Central Point, Oreg., and Mariah Murphy and her husband, Donovan, of Colorado; one son, Justin Fogel, of Medford, Oreg.; five brothers, Joseph Senteno, of Apple Valley, Calif., Junior Morales and his wife, Jennie, of Medford, Oreg., Gilbert Morales and his wife, Dora of Medford, Oreg., Ernie Morales and his wife, Jennifer, of Phoenix, Oreg. and Bobby Morales of California; three sisters, Lillian Hernandez and her husband, Emiliano, of Medford, Oreg., Ruby Morales, of Phoenix, Oreg. and Edna Cortez, of Phoenix, Oreg.; and 10 grandchildren. Preceding him in death was his father.

He spent most of his life in California and Oregon. He was a self-employed upholsterer. Around one year ago, he moved to Shell Knob.

No services are scheduled. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.
