Gladys E. Williams
Gladys E. Williams, 95, of Cassville, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2015, in Mercy Hospital, Cassville.
She was born Oct. 2, 1919, in Hurley, the daughter of William M. and Rosa (Etheridge) Gardner. On Nov. 21, 1936, she was united in marriage to Earl "Bus" Williams, who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her parents; three sons, Leon, Bill and Johnny; one brother; and nine sisters.
Survivors include: three sons, Carl Williams and his wife, Jan, of Washburn, Jack Williams and his wife, Alma, of Cassville, and Jimmy Williams and his wife, Mary, of Garfield, Ark.; four daughters, Shirley Dean, of Cassville, Linda Pippin, of Bella Vista, Ark., Julia Carter, of Little Rock, Ark., and Kathy Mills, of Auburn, Wash.; 27 grandchildren; 46 great grandchildren; and 15 great-great grandchildren.
She received her education at Crane. Most of her life was spent in Southwest Missouri and she was employed 15 years at Tysons. She was a member of Washburn Methodist Church.
Funeral services were held Saturday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Jon McCormack conducted the services. Burial was at Washburn Prairie Cemetery, Washburn.
