Eagle Rock man faces 3 felony charges for assault
Charges stem from alleged domestic assault with handgun
An Eagle Rock man has been charged with three felonies in connection with an alleged domestic assault involving a High Point 9mm pistol.
On Friday, David Goodson, 47, was arraigned in Barry County Circuit Court, and he pleaded not guilty to first-degree domestic assault, unlawful use of a weapon and false imprisonment.
On April 8, Goodson allegedly struck a female victim in the head with the butt of a loaded pistol while he was allegedly intoxicated, according to a probable cause statement from Alvin Zabala, deputy with the Barry County Sheriff's Office. The incident took place at the 29000 block of Farm Road 1225 in Eagle Rock.
Goodson, who was released on $50,000 bond, has a disposition hearing on April 28 with Judge Robert Foulke.
