Volleyball team honored with Scholastic Achievement Award

The 2014-2015 Purdy High School volleyball team was recently awarded the Outstanding Scholastic Achievement award from the Missouri State High School Activities Association.

To earn the Outstanding Scholastic Achievement Award, the team needed a GPA of 3.25 or higher.

"Our varsity team averaged a 3.66 grade point average in the fall semester during volleyball season," said Ashley Brown, Purdy coach. "These girls excelled greatly beyond that. I am extremely proud of their accomplishments, both on and off the court."

The Lady Eagles, in Brown's first season at the helm, finished 15-14-5.
