March 11 set for voter registration deadline
Residents may register to vote at county clerk's office
March 11 has been set as the deadline to register to be eligible to vote for the general municipal election on April 7, according to Barry County Clerk Gary Youngblood.
Youngblood has asked voters notify his office if they have moved and have not updated their address, or if they had a name change.
Absentee voting continues through April 6 at the Barry County Clerk's Office in Cassville, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
If unable to vote in person, voters may send a written request to the office of Gary Youngblood, Barry County Clerk, 700 Main St. Suite 2, Cassville, MO 65625; or fax to 417-847-5311.
The office will need: Name, physical address, mailing address, date of birth, last four digits of Social Security number, phone number, reason for voting absentee and signature.
The last day to request absentee ballot by mail is April 1 for the April 7 general municipal election.
