Wednesday, March 4, 2015
Cassville Future Business Leaders of America recently held a change drive and raised nearly $500 to benefit the March of Dimes. The change drive was held in the high school and middle school where first hour classes were encouraged to fill the baby bottles with change. Each winning class received a donut breakfast. The winning class at the middle school was Mrs. Kice's class, which raised $44.70. At the high school, Mr. Frederickson's class raised a total of $347.45 and Mrs. Henderson's class was second with $105.01. Pictured, from left, are: Garrett Knight, Dillon Hess, Nicole Sutphin and Rhandi Pendergraft. March of Dimes funds lifesaving research and programs and works to end premature birth, birth defects and infant mortality. All proceeds will be donated to the March of Dimes. Contributed photo
