Marjourie Maria Hubert (Tabor) Parish

Marjourie Maria Hubert (Tabor) Parish, 71, of Cassville, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2015. She was born on Jan. 10, 1944, the daughter of Charles and Marjourie (Tickel) Hubert, in Long Beach, Calif. She was raised in California until her father retired from the Navy and they relocated to Dry Fork, Ark. She spent several years at the School of the Ozarks in Point Lookout, where she obtained a degree in elementary education. She married Tom Tabor and they moved to Washburn, where she taught in elementary grades until her retirement in 2000. On Oct. 4, 2001, she was united in marriage to Ron Parish, of Tulsa, Okla., and they made their home in Cassville. She attended First Baptist Church in Cassville.

Survivors include: her husband, Ron; her sister, Loraine Blevins, of Cassville; her children, Sue Anne Edford and her husband, Steve, of Owasso, Okla.; Charlie Tabor and his wife, CJ, of Jenkins and M. Lynne "Button" Mann and her husband, Eric, of Washburn; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the American Cancer Society and entrusted to the White Funeral Home & Crematory, P.O. Box 890, Cassville, MO 65625.

A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
