Edna Maxine Cooper Brattin

Edna Maxine Cooper Brattin, 84, of Wheaton, passed away Friday, Jan. 16, 2015. She was born in Barry County, on Feb. 20, 1930, daughter of Everett and Martha (Haynes) Cooper. She was united in marriage on Feb. 4, 1950, to Roy Levi "Jack" Brattin, who preceded her in death. Survivors include: her three sons, Gary and his wife, Donna, of Liberty, Rick and his wife, Gail, of Monett, and Alan and his wife, Donna, of Wheaton; her sister, Helen and her husband Rev.

William Riddle, of Republic; her brother, Bob and his wife, Darelyn, of Cooper, Wheaton; sisters-in-law, Lorene Licklider, Cassville, Barbara Haynes, of Springfield and Helen Brattin, of Wheaton; brother-in-law, Lloyd Tucker, Cassville; four grandchildren; two step grandchildren; six great grandchildren; three step great grandchildren; and four step great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Zelma and husband Leroy Francisco, Ina Lea Tucker and Loveta and husband Charles Stipp and one brother, Don and wife, Judy Cooper.

She worked as a clerk at several different businesses. She was a member of the Southern Baptist Church of Wheaton.

Funeral services were held Tuesday in Wheaton Southern Baptist Church, under direction of McQueen Funeral Home, Wheaton. Pastor Paul Wahlert and Pastor Jerry Francisco conducted the services. Burial was at Muncie Chapel Cemetery.
