4 injured in Elsie Corn Lane wreck

3 suffer minor injuries, 1 moderately injured

Four people were injured Sunday evening in a two-vehicle wreck on Elsie Corn Lane, two miles east of Seligman.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Benjamin Vinson, 16, of Seligman, was driving a 1997 Dodge Ram truck at about 5:10 p.m. Sunday when his vehicle crossed the center line in a curve and struck a 2006 Hummer H3, being driven by Michael Seabolt, 41, of Seligman.

Vinson suffered minor injuries, and a passenger in his vehicle, Summer Way, 15, of Seligman, suffered moderate injuries. Both were transported by Cox EMS to Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Ark.

Seabolt and a passenger in his vehicle, Jennifer Taft, 24, of Cassville, each suffered minor injuries and were transported by private vehicle to Mercy Hospital in Cassville.

None of the four were wearing safety devices, and both vehicles suffered moderate damage.
