Wednesday, January 7, 2015
The freshman and sophomore FBLA Leadership Workshop was held at the Crowder Community Building in Cassville on Oct. 17. A total of 190 freshmen and sophomore students attended, along with 23 table leaders, 16 advisors, and two guest speakers. Chris Fenske, Crowder College, and Lynn Coffey, Kickapoo High School, led the activities and taught students how to strengthen their leadership skills in all aspects of life. Team building activities included the human knot, building a pyramid with marshmallows and spaghetti, and mine field. Each table was led by upperclassmen from various schools that attended the workshop. Activities were designed to improve the students communication and leadership skills for the underclassmen so that they can make the most of their high school years. Contributed photo
