Marlene Duncan, 83, of Washburn, passed away Saturday, Dec. 6, 2014, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
She was born Oct. 20, 1931, in Lincoln, Neb., the daughter of Oliver and Gladys (Delette) Anderson. She was united in marriage to Bob Davis in April of 1949, who preceded her in death on March 28, 2005. On June 18, 1965, in Winterhaven, Calif., she was united in marriage to Rex Clinton Duncan, who preceded her in death on May 2, 2011. Also preceding her in death were three brothers; three sisters; and a grandson.
Survivors include: four sons, Scott Duncan, of Rogers, Ark., Randy Duncan and his wife, Lori, of Washburn, Craig Davis and his wife, Kathleen, of Rogers, Ark., and Kevin Duncan, of Rogers, Ark.; one daughter Melissa Racine and her husband, Tim, of Oak Harbor, Wash.; one brother, Meryle Anderson, of California; two sisters, Yvonne Jones, of Arizona, and Josephine Woods, of Utah; 10 grandchildren; and seven great- grandchildren.
She attended San Diego High School and graduated in 1948. In 1975, she and her family moved from California to Washburn, Missouri to make their home. She was a member of Cassville First Christian Church.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor Glenn Erwin will conduct the services.
