Seligman woman injured in wreck

A Seligman woman suffered minor injuries on Nov. 22 in a wreck on Highway 112, two miles east of Seligman, at about 5:28 p.m.

According to as Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Emily Cleek, 21, of Bella Vista, Ark., was driving a 2000 Dodge Intrepid when her vehicle attempted to pass a 1994 Chevrolet Silverado, being driven by Teresa King, 55, of Seligman. King was attempting to make a left turn while Cleek was trying to pass, leading the Silverado to strike the Intrepid.

King suffered minor injuries and was transported by Cox EMS to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. Cleek suffered no injuries.

The Intrepid suffered extensive damage, and the Silverado suffered moderate damage. Both women were wearing safety devices.
