Warrant issues for man accused of stealing vehicle

A suspect in a string of thefts in Barry County and Arkansas has been identified, according to the Barry County Sheriff's Office.

A warrant has been issued for Justin Hamby, 39, who allegedly stole a motor vehicle on Farm Road 1200 north of Highway 76. He also allegedly stole credit cards from another vehicle, and the credit cards have been used at various businesses in Arkansas.

The Springdale, Ark., Police Department has distributed wanted posters of Hamby, who is 6-1 and weighs 235 pounds. The poster shows two pictures, including a mugshot and camera footage of Hamby at a Springdale Walmart.

He allegedly used stolen credit cards at the Springdale Walmart, according to the wanted poster, which indicates he is wanted for breaking and entering, theft, credit card fraud, parole violation and multiple warrants from various northwest Arkansas agencies.
