Church to deliver Thanksgiving meals to homebound individuals

On Thanksgiving Day, First Baptist Church in Cassville will deliver hot meals to homebound individuals. Those who are homebound, or those would like to submit the name of a homebound individual to receive a Thanksgiving meal, may call the church office at 417-847-2965 by Nov. 21.

New Hope hosts 160th Homecoming, Thanksgiving meal

New Hope Baptist Church will celebrate its 160th Homecoming, serving a Thanksgiving meal at 5:30 p.m. in the church dining room, followed by a gospel concert featuring The Final Destination Quartet. Pastor Charles Stults and the congregation have extended the invitation to the public. The church is located three miles west of Highway 37 on Highway W, then 3/4-mile north on Farm Road 1052.

Share Your Christmas sign-ups begin Nov. 10

Share Your Christmas sign-ups will be ongoing until Nov. 21, from 9 a.m. to noon and 1-3 p.m. each day at the Neighborhood Center, located at 700 E Hwy. 248 in Cassville. Proof of all household income for the month of October and Social Security cards for each household member is required. For more information, people may call 417-847-2140.

OACAC hosting coat drive beginning Friday

The Barry County Ozarks Area Community Action Corporation Neighborhood Center is hosting a coat drive until Dec. 3. Drop-off locations include: Freedom Bank, Barry Electric, the Cassville Area Chamber of Commerce and the OACAC Neighborhood Center.
