Red Ribbon Week events set for next week

The Purdy School District will celebrate Red Ribbon Week from Monday to Oct. 30. The overall theme is "I Don't Have An APP For That!"

Each student will dress up for daily themes

Monday is "Jersey Day," according to a district flyer. Students wear their favorite jersey to team up against drugs.

Tuesday is "80s Day." Students dress in their 80s clothes and big hair to show how "awesome" and "knarly" of a dude they are without drugs.

Wednesday is "Twin Days." Students pick a friend to dress alike to "double up" on saying no to drugs.

Thursday is "Wear Red Day." Students will wear red to show they are too bright to do drugs.
