Kay Francis Booth, 82, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014, at Cox South hospital in Springfield.

She was born Nov. 11, 1931, in Des Moines, Iowa, the daughter of Everett Hale and Sarah Addesa Dickson (Wiley.) On Oct. 22, 1950, at the Christian Church in Des Moines, she was united in marriage to Kenneth C. Booth, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include: three sons, David Michael Booth, of Des Moines, Iowa, James Booth, of Springfield, and John Booth, of Des Moines, Iowa; one daughter, Mary Kay Booth, of Cassville; two sisters, Gwen Damerval, of Des Moines, Iowa, Sandra Olson, of Columbia, S.C.; one brother, Robert Dickson, of Minnetonka, Minn.; grandchildren, Justin Daniel Booth, Stacey Lee Booth and Kimberly Noelle Booth, all of Springfield; and two great-granddaughters, Peli Renee Smith and Kayliana Marie, of Springfield.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Mark Kenneth Booth, one brother, Richard Lee Dickson, and her parents.

She grew up and received her education in Iowa. She was a homemaker.

She will be laid to rest with her husband in West Des Moines, Iowa, at Resthaven Cemetery & Mausoleum in West Des Moines, Iowa.
