Teen injured in one-vehicle wreck
18-year-old ejected from overturned vehicle
An 18-year-old suffered moderate injures in a wreck Thursday morning on Highway 39, two miles north of Shell Knob.
Brandt Vice, 18, of Shell Knob, was traveling southbound on Highway 39 when his vehicle, a 1999 Mercury Cougar, went off the left side of the road. The move led to an overcorrection, making the vehicle travel off the right side of the road and strike some trees. The vehicle overturned an ejected Vice, who was not wearing a safety device.
Vice was transported by EMS to Cox South Hospital in Springfield with moderate injuries. The vehicle was totaled.
