New student enrollment begins Aug. 1
Purdy Schools have announced registration and schedule pick-up dates for elementary, middle and high school students.
Students who are new to the district have the opportunity to enroll on Friday from 9-11 a.m. and from 1-2:30 p.m. A parent or legal guardian must be present to enroll their student.
To enroll, students new to the district must bring a copy of their immunizations records; their birth certificate; evidence of residency, such as a utility or rent receipt; name and address of previous school; and a transcript of grades. New students will not be enrolled on Aug. 12, the first day of school. New student enrollment will resume on Aug. 13 by appointment only.
Purdy schools will welcome students, parents and patrons to the 2014-15 school year at an open house from 5:30-7 p.m. on Aug. 7. Parents and students are encouraged to attend to meet staff members, receive important information regarding the school year and tour the facilities, including newest additions and remodeling.
Information regarding late-start Monday, administrative restructuring and student iPads will be available at open house. Administrators will be available to answer questions regarding these changes.
Middle school students in grades five through eight who scheduled in the spring will be able to pick up schedules on Aug. 7, from 5:30-7 p.m. during the open house.
