Voters must present one form of ID to vote

Absentee voting at the Barry County Courthouse will continue this week and end on Monday.

Those with mobility issues, like walking or standing in lines , are encouraged to vote absentee.

The Barry County Clerk's Office will be open from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday for absentee voting for the Primary Election.

Absentee voting in-person continues through Monday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Barry County Clerk's Office in Cassville.

Voters must present one form of identification to vote, including a drivers license or voter registration card.

Since the election is a Primary Election, voters are also required to tell the election workers which party ballot they wish to vote on, and this information is not recorded.

Polls open at 6 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. on Election Day.

For additional information, people may call Gary Youngblood, Barry County clerk, at 417-847-2762 or email him at barrycountyclerk@centurytel.net
