Billy Lee Rodgers-Hughes, Jr
Billy Lee Rodgers-Hughes, Jr., 50, of Purdy, formerly of Tyler, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at his home. He was born on Jan. 1, 1964, in Hobbs, N.M., the son of Jimmie & Ella (Sumner) Rodgers. He was a cross-country truck driver.
Survivors include: his five daughters, Kathlyn Hughes, Katelyn Hughes, Jacquelyn Hughes, Marilyn Hughes, all of Purdy, and Cammie Rodgers, of Hobbs, N.M.; and their mother, Leah Nance, of Berryville, Ark.; one grandson; his mother and father, Jimmie and Ella Rodgers, of Tyler, Texas; his biological father, Billy Lee Hughes, Sr., of Siloam Springs, Ark.; and one sister, Lisa Rodgers Stockstill, of Jacksonville, Texas.
He is preceded in death by one sister, Debra M. Rodgers Bristol, of Hobbs, N.M.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home & Crematory, Cassville.
