Lewis William Brunner, 79, of Shell Knob, passed away Saturday, July 12, 2014, in his home.

He was born May 13, 1935, in Lancaster, N.Y., the son of Howard and Pearl (Barry) Brunner. On Sept. 13, 1963, in Omaha, Neb., he was united in marriage to Beverly Jane DeWitt, who survives.

Additional survivors include: one son, David Brunner and his wife, Nina, of Jackson, Tenn.; one daughter, Jana Brunner and her husband, Rick Radakovich, of Kansas City; one sister, Rosemarie Brunner, of Bellevue, Neb.; and six grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents; one brother; and two sisters.

He graduated from high school in Omaha, Neb. He moved from Nebraska to Shell Knob 18 years ago. He was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Shell Knob. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, July 21, in Trinity Presbyterian Church, Shell Knob, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Shell Knob. Pastor John Johnson will conduct the services.
