Nadine Pugh, 87, of St. Charles, formerly of Barry County, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2014, in St. Joseph Hospital in St. Charles.
She was born April 7, 1927, in Verona, the daughter of Jesse Earl and Lavada (Henson) Webber. On May 10, 1944, she was united in marriage to Winfred Pugh, who preceded her in death on March 1, 2007. Also preceding her in death were her parents; two brothers, Clarence and Jay Webber; one sister, Irene Jackson; one grandson, Joe Pugh and two daughters-in-law, Derry Lynn and Paula Pugh.
Survivors include: four sons, Jerald Pugh and his wife, Enez, of Belleville, Ill., Garald Pugh and his wife, Cara, of Carthage, David Pugh, of St. Charles, and Dennis Pugh, of St. Charles; 15 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She grew up and received her education in Barry County. She was a homemaker and ministered to churches with her husband in Missouri, Iowa, Kansas, Arkansas and Mississippi. She was a member of The Church of God (Holiness). Thirteen years ago she moved to St. Charles to make her home.
Funeral services were held today (Wednesday) in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastors Garald Pugh and Leroy Pugh conducted the services. Burial was at Sparks Cemetery, Butterfield.
