Norris Eric Williams, 62, of Pea Ridge, Ark., passed away Thursday, June 19, 2014, in Southside Regional Medical Center, Petersburg, Va.
He was born Sept. 6, 1951, in Cassville, the son of Opal G. and Hazel V. (Lawson) Williams. On Dec. 24, 1971, in Seligman, he was united in marriage to Jo Goldsmith, who survives.
Additional survivors include: one son, Jamie Williams, of Bentonville, Ark.; one daughter, Erica Henderson and her husband, Jason, of St. Joseph; three brothers, Doyle Williams, of Colorado Springs, Colo., Pharis Williams, of Sun City West, Ariz., and Knial Williams, of Seligman; one sister, Ramona Fletcher, of Seligman; and four grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents and two brothers, Kevin and Darrell Williams.
He received his education at Washburn, and was a graduate of Southwest High School. He had been employed for Emerson Electric for a while and previously worked for Scott Paper in Rogers, Ark. He then drove a truck for U.S.A. Trucking Company for 19 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Pea Ridge, Ark. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Burial will be at King Cemetery, Seligman.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.
