An infant and a Purdy woman were injured in a recent two-vehicle side-swipe crash on County Road 1072, about four miles northwest
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred when a 2005 Jeep Liberty, driven by Heather Greer, 24, of Purdy, sideswiped a 1968 Chevrolet half-ton truck, driven by John E. Newman, 69, of Exeter, at 2:20 p.m., Friday.
Greer and an infant in the vehicle, Dalton J. Boyd, were taken to Cox Hospital South in Springfield with moderate and minor injuries, respectively. Boyd and Newman were wearing seat belts. Greer was not wearing a seat belt.
