Patricia "Patti" Eskildsen

Patricia "Patti" Eskildsen, 73, of Cassville, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2014. She was born on March 1, 1941, in Maywood, Ill., daughter of Elmer and Catherine (Clow) Wagner. She graduated from Proviso High School. On Oct. 10, 1951, she was united in marriage to James Eskildsen. She and her husband moved in Barry County in 1973, where they owned and operated Ackin' Back Resort in Shell Knob for 17 years. She worked as the Certified Dietary Manager at Mercy Hospital in Cassville for 17 years. She was a member of the Women's Central Crossing Auxiliary in Shell Knob, and the Compassionate Friends Network through the hospital in Cassville. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cassville.

Survivors include: her husband of 54 years, James, of Cassville; two daughters, Suzie Smith and Shari Rhea and her husband, Darren, all of Cassville; three grandchildren; one brother, Robert Wagner and his wife, Cathy, of Peoria, Ariz.; and one brother-in-law, Henry Eskildsen, of Rockford, Ill. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Scott Eskildsen.

Funeral services were held Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Cassville with Pastor James Weaver officiating. Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery. White Funeral Home and Crematory.
