Retired school personnel to meet

The Barry County Retired School Personnel will have a joint meeting with Lawrence County Retired School Personnel on Thursday, June 12. Lawrence County will serves as hosts at the First Baptist Church in Aurora at 10:30 a.m. The cost of the meal is $12.

Open mike session set for June 21

Seligman Chamber of Commerce will hold an open mike session at 7 p.m. on Saturday June 21 at the Seligman Chamber Event Center on Highway 37. There is no admission charge. Snacks will be served. No alcohol or smoking allowed. For more information, people may call 417-662-3612 or 479-381-2133.

Blood drive slated at Crowder College

The American Red Cross will hold blood drives from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on June 24 at Crowder College, 4020 N. Main in Cassville, and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on June 27 at Arvest Bank, 503 Main in Cassville.

Dogwood Trail Garden Club flower show set

The Dogwood Trail Garden Club will present its annual flower show from 1 to 4 p.m. on June 28 at the Shell Knob/Viola Community Building. The theme will be "Childhood Memories."

Watercolor Workshop scheduled in Shell Knob

Creative Arts of Shell Knob will host a Watercolor Workshop with artist Jeannette Lowe from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on June 14 and 21, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. Cost is $45. For additional information, people may call 417-858-3117.

Clay sculpture workshop slated

Manufacturing Technology seminar set

Southern Missouri Beekeepers to meet

The Southern Missouri Beekeepers of Monett will meet at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 17 at the First United Methodist Church, 1600 N. Central in Monett. Bob Clark will speak on how and when to collect surplus honey. The program will begin with a potluck dinner.
