Weatherman named to first team, 2 make second team

The Cassville Wildcats felt blessed and lucky when they received the fourth seed in the Class 4, District 11 tournament this past season.

After reeling in two wins, including shocking the top team in the district before falling in the title game to Monett, Cassville was rewarded with three spots on the all-district team.

Senior Marcus Weatherman was named to the first team, and sophomore Noah Hadlow and junior Chase Jackson were selected to the second team.

Only first team All-District players can be considered for All-State, which is expected to be released on June 20.

Chase Jackson, a junior, was a steady force for the Wildcats' baseball team at the plate and in the field. His versatility made him a valued asset and earned him a second team All-District selection. Chuck Nickle/Special to the Cassville Democrat

Second team

Nate Landas, Carl Junction; Cooper Underwood, McDonald County;

Cooper Caldwell, Monett; Blake Spain, Monett; Brett Gollhofer, Monett; Noah Hadlow, Cassville; Zach Beyer, Carl Junction; Trevor Young, McDonald County; Cooper Dill, McDonald County; Trenton Frazier, McDonald County; Chase Jackson, Cassville; and Justice Hylton, Carl Junction.
