John R. Walker
John R. Walker, 55, of Cassville, passed away Saturday, June 7, 2014, in Cassville Health Care and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born May 30, 1959, in Cassville, the son of Rodney Walker and Norma Ruth (Ackley) Ruby. In 1998, he was united in marriage to Bonnie Lett, who survives.
Additional survivors include: his father, Rodney Walker, of Cassville; his mother, Norma Ruth Ruby, of Scott City, Kansas; two stepsons, Thomas Stephens, of Joplin, and Daniel Stephens, of Moberly; two stepdaughters, Charlotte Kennedy and her husband, Will, of Carl Junction, and Victory Carlock and her husband, Matt, of Pryor, Okla.; one brother, Allen Walker and his wife, Janie, of Cassville; one sister, Norma Sue Wilson and her husband, Don, of Healy, Kan.; and 12 grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were one brother, James Walker and his stepmother, Donna Walker.
He attended schools in Belton, and Hugoton, Kan. He had been a resident of Cassville several years. He attended First Baptist Church in Butterfield.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor Doyle Russell will conduct the services. Burial will be at a later date in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Cassville.
