SKITS has announced tickets are now available for the organization's next play, "Dogsbreath Devereaux, The Dastardly Doctor."

The play is an old time melodrama with booing and hissing fun for the audience.

Dogsbreath Devereaux, M.D., plots to wed and do away with the wealthy widow, Lotta Cash, so he can inherit her fortune and her late husband's clinic. Devereaux enlists the aid of the nasty nurse, Hilda Hatchet, and promises to marry her once he disposes of Lotta.

Problems arise with the insanely jealous Hilda catches Dogsbreath flirting with Wendy March, the heroine of our show. It seems only our hero, Dr. Phil Good, can save Wendy and the unsuspecting Lotta Cash from certain death.

Tickets are $6 and are available for sale at the following locations in Shell Knob: Shell Knob Chamber of Commerce, Treasures, Service #1 Credit Union, United Methodist Church, Central Crossing Senior Center.

Performances will be held at the United Methodist Church on YY in Shell Knob on at 2 and 7 p.m. on Saturday June 21. An additional performance will take place at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 22.

Funding for this production has been provided, in part, by the Missouri Arts Council.
