Area man hurt in Barry County crash; 2-vehicle wreck happened south of Purdy
A Monett man was hurt in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 37 one half mile of Purdy.
According to a Highway Patrol report, the crash happened at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, when a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Keisha D. Drost, 39, of Purdy, attempted to cross the highway westbound and was hit by Skinkis' southbound 1998 Chevrolet S-10.
Skinkis received minor injuries and was transported to Cox Monett Hospital for treatment. Drost was unhurt in the crash.
The report stated that both were wearing seat belts when the crash occurred.
