Southwest earns high conference honors; Purdy, Wheaton, Exeter represented on Ozark 7 list

After a Ozark 7 conference championship season, Southwest took home two high conference honors.

Kenny Ferguson was named Coach of the Year and Chad Oxford was named Player of the Year.

Purdy placed second in the conference.

The complete list is as follows:

First team

Jamason Hartin, Nathan Young and Brad Daniels, Southwest; Alex Mareth, Sydney Birge and Ricky Aldaba, Purdy; Matt Hickman and Chase Cantwell, Wheaton and Anthony Bertacino, McAuley.

Honorable Mention

Lane England, Southwest; Dusty Videmschek and Reese Veith, Purdy; Joey Robbins and Toby Banks, Wheaton; Adam Roberts, Brendyn Taylor and Dylan Londo, McAuley; Colton Stringer, Exeter; and Dre Sitton, Verona.
