Tabatha Nicole Walkingstick
Tabatha Nicole Walkingstick, 36, of Cato, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2014.
She was born Nov. 14, 1977, in Maryville, the daughter of Randy Eugene and Christine Jo (Keever) Messbarger. She was united in marriage to James Walkingstick, who survives.
Also survivors include: two sons, Devin Blake Messbarger and Brett Allen Cooper, both of the home; her father, Randy Messbarger, of the home; her mother, Chris Kamalu, of Jacksonville, Fla.; one sister, Terra Stockton and her husband, Brian, of Aurora; two brothers, Travis Messbarger and his wife, Kayla, of Shell Knob, and Trevor Messbarger and his wife, Brandy, of Eagle Rock; and her grandmothers, Josephine Keever, of Mt. Vernon, and Velma Messbarger, of Maryville.
Preceding her in death were her grandfathers.
She spent most of her life in the Cato area, receiving her education at Jenkins and Cassville and received her medical training at Missouri Southern State University in Joplin. For several years, she was employed at St. John's Clinic in Monett as a medical technician. She lived a short time in Anchorage, Aka., before returning to Missouri two years ago. She attended Lohmer Full Gospel Church in Shell Knob, where funeral services were held Tuesday, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor David Donaldson conducted the services. Burial was at Osa Cemetery, Osa.
