Deloris Jean "Mitchell" Davison
Deloris Jean "Mitchell" Davison, 72, of Purdy, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2014, in Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
She was born April 5, 1942, in Branson, the daughter of William Andrew and Ivy Juanita (Sabin) Sanders. On Nov. 13, 2006, in Laughlin, Nev., she was united in marriage to Edward F. "Ed" Davison, who survives.
Additional survivors include: three sons, Edward "Frank" Davison and his wife, Linda, of Aurora, Ill., William Lawrence Davison and his wife, Melissa, of Yorkville, Ill., and Michael Hatton and his wife, Teresa, of Joplin; two daughters, Lora Lynn Highland and her husband, Don, of Purdy, and Mary Tran, of Aurora, Ill.; one sister, Grace, of Branson; 16 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents and 12 brothers and sisters.
She grew up and received her education near Branson. She resided in Arizona many years and owned and operated a rock and mineral show and show ground in Quartzsite, Ariz. In 2006, she moved from Arizona to Purdy. She, along with her husband, owned and operated Ed's Flea Market in Purdy.
Memorial services will be held at a later date in Kentucky.
Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.
