Donated vehicle to raise money for Education Fund

The Cassville Community Foundation Education Fund will be auctioning off a 1989 Ford XLT Lariat truck on May 3, with proceeds from the sale going toward the fund.

The pickup truck, which has 108,000 miles, was donated to the foundation by Don and Mary Cupps, and proceeds will fund learning tools for teachers in Cassville Schools.

Bids for the truck must be received by 2 p.m. on May 3. It will be shown at First State Bank in Cassville, located at 98 Main St., before being moved to the courthouse square on Saturday.

The truck will go to the highest bidder, and those interested are not limited to only one bid.

To place a bid or inspect the truck, people may call Landon Fletcher at 417-847-7384, the Cassville Area Chamber of Commerce office at 417-847-2814, or contact any Community Foundation board member.
